Jim joined the firm in August 1991. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. One of Jim’s specialties is business design and tax planning. He also has extensive experience implementing, supervising and producing monthly compilation reports for numerous Sonic Drive-In restaurants and other business, including regular strategy consulting and corporate tax returns.
Jim’s other specialty is tax and estate planning for high net worth clients. He is focused on helping his clients achieve their goals and create wealth. He has worked with numerous estate planning attorneys to structure and design workable estate plans to minimize the estate tax burden on the successor generations while helping his clients maintain control of their estates and create wealth in the successor generations.
Jim is a Fort Scott, Kansas native and enjoys the outdoors hunting, hiking, ATVing, snow skiing, and kayaking.
